Caring Hands for Cancer

Cancer continues to be an epidemic in our community as well as throughout this country and we as a church have an opportunity to reach into the lives of families with the hope and message of Jesus in the difficult, sad, lonely and transforming times that accompany the many heartbreaking battles with cancer.

Looking back at 2019 we would once again like to thank everyone who has been involved in Caring Hands for Cancer over the past year. Many of you have supported this unique ministry with your time, prayers, financial support and services as needed. We Truly Thank You! for being faithful to the ministry and volunteering your muscles during the needs of fundraisers, meals and/or outside physical labor and yard work.

In 2019, along with the gospel message, we gave out $6,500 to people in the community fighting cancer. As one fundraiser comes to an end, the Lord always opens another door allowing us to continue raising money year after year. If you know of anyone dealing with cancer, please let us know so we can be of help to their family. Since giving out our first check in mid-2011 we have given $74,700 to families struggling with the burden of cancer.
